Nigeria most blessed, no citizen meant to beg – Pastor Enenche

Senior Pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Center, DIGC, Dr Paul Enenche has ascribed the economic and other challenges bedeviling the nation to poor leadership, stating that Nigeria remains one of the most blessed nations on earth.

The fiery clergy made the remark on Tuesday during a live service organized by the church to mark the nation’s 64th Independence Day anniversary.

According to him, the country is endowed with several natural resources that ought to have enriched the citizens.

He, however, lamented that “different levels of leadership in this country don’t care about whatever happens”.

Pastor Enenche led the congregation in a special prayer for the country, insisting that “God needs to restore the glory of this nation”.

He said, “I don’t need anybody to prophesy to me that Nigeria is one of the most blessed nations in the world.

“There is no field of endeavour where a Nigerian is not competing with another person. In any subject and in any part of the world, whether in science, invention, technology, IT, medicine or in art.

“Nigeria does not have to struggle with electricity if all resources in the country are harnessed. Everything is here, including gold. Why are we here?

“Nobody in this nation is meant to be begging. Which kind of devil is on this ground? I don’t want you to give up.

“One prayer I usually pray is ‘Lord, you put a deposit in this nation, please permit citizens of this nation to enjoy your blessings in their lifetime before Jesus comes’.

“Why can’t citizens of this country enjoy what God has deposited in their land? Everybody can do well and there will still be rich people”.

War: We’re fully ready – Iran to Israel

Iran has said that it was fully ready for whatever Israel may come up with.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, gave the order to launch missiles against Israel.

DAILY POST reported that Iran launched over 180 ballistic missiles into Israel early Tuesday.

The Israeli military said it has received no reports of injuries from the Iranian missile attack.

The Israeli military spokesperson, Rear Adm Daniel Hagari, said the country’s air defenses intercepted many of the incoming missiles, though some landed in central and southern Israel.

However, a senior Iranian official told Reuters that Tehran “is fully ready for any retaliation”.

Meanwhile, the Iranian mission to the United Nations has defended the country’s missile launches against Israel, calling it a response to “terrorist acts” by Israel.
