Also rescinded are orders on Data-Driven Response to COVID-19 and Future High-Consequence Public Health Threats, Revitalising America’s Foreign Policy and National Security Workforce, Institutions, and Partnerships, and Increasing the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors.

A statement from the White House said the President is committed to “continuing the review and repeal of harmful Biden administration policies to usher in a new golden age for America.”

Trump also signed an executive order to reduce the size of the federal government by eliminating “unnecessary government entities.” The affected entities include the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, the Minority Business Development Agency, the U.S. Arctic Research Commission, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the U.S. Agency for Global Media, the Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The President’s action follows efforts by the Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, to cut waste, fraud, and abuse within the federal government.
