The White House has criticized a federal judge’s attempt to stop the President Donald Trump administration’s recent deportation flights.

White House said that the judge’s move was deemed “too late” by the Central American leader who accepted the deportations over the weekend.

DAILY POST reports that Trump had on Friday invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which allows deportation of natives and citizens of an enemy nation without a hearing.

However, US District Judge James Boasberg ordered an immediate stop to the deportations in order to determine whether Trump’s invocation of the 1798 act was legal.

But a Trump government official told Fox News that the planes carrying the migrants had already left US airspace when the judge issued his order.

In a statement to Fox News on Sunday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the Trump administration “did not ‘refuse to comply’ with a court order.”

“The order, which had no lawful basis, was issued after terrorist (Tren de Aragua) aliens had already been removed from U.S. territory. The written order and the Administration’s actions do not conflict.

“Moreover, as the Supreme Court has repeatedly made clear – federal courts generally have no jurisdiction over the President’s conduct of foreign affairs,” Leavitt said.

A total of 261 illegal aliens were deported from the US to El Salvador on Sunday.

The migrants were alleged to have involved in kidnapping, sexual abuse of a child, aggravated assault, prostitution, robbery and aggravated assault of a police officer.

United States warships have shot down roughly a dozen Houthi drones since President Donald Trump launched airstrikes against the terrorist organization on Saturday.

Fox News reports that a senior defense official disclosed the developments to it on Sunday.

According to the report, the official said that the drones were aimed at the US Navy’s Truman Carrier Strike Group, and were shot down “well before” they posed a serious threat.

The latest military action came after attacks from Houthis, both on commercial merchant vessels and US military ships.

DAILY POST reported that Trump ordered the US Military to launch decisive and powerful Military action against the Houthi terrorists in Yemen.

Trump re-designated the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) in January.

He had during his first administration named the Houthis as an FTO, but the ex-President Joe Biden’s administration later reversed the move.

The White House on Sunday released photos of Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz monitoring the strikes.
