Bandits attack Katsina community, kill residents, abduct five

Armed bandits launched a deadly attack on Kaguwa community in Kurfi Local Government Area of Katsina State on Wednesday night, killing several residents, abducting five people, including girls, and rustling a large number of livestock.

The incident was revealed in a post by security analyst, Bakatsine on Thursday.

According to him, the attackers stormed the village in large numbers, shooting sporadically.

“Yesterday night, bandits attacked the Kaguwa community in Kurfi LGA, Katsina State. They killed some people, abducted five people including girls and rustled a large number of livestock during the attack,” he said.

Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
