The United States, US, Director of National Intelligence and former Presidential candidate, Tulsi Gabbard, has accused President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine of trying to drag America into war with Russia.
Gabbard said Zelenskky has been trying to force the US into a nuclear and World War 3 with Russia.
He spoke while commending President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance for standing their ground during the heated meeting with Zelenskyy at the White House on Friday.
Zelenskky had visited the White House for a mineral deal with the US.
The US was expected to intervene and end the war between Ukraine and Russia if Zelenskyy had signed the mineral deal.
While at the Oval office, Trump and Vance engaged Zelenskky in a heated argument about diplomacy and other issues.
The Ukrainian president had accused Russia of breaking the ceasefire agreement and killing the people of Ukraine.
Responding, Trump warned Zelenskky that he was trying to put the lives of millions in danger and risking world war III.
Reacting via an X post, Gabbard wrote: “Thank you @realDonaldTrump for your unwavering leadership in standing up for the interests of the American people, and peace.
“What you said is absolutely true: Zelensky has been trying to drag the United States into a nuclear war with Russia/WW3 for years now, and no one has called him on it.
“Thank you, Vice President @JDVance for speaking out so forcefully and clearly, about the necessity of diplomacy.”
