The co-owner of Chelsea, Todd Boehly, has revealed that a new stadium for the club remains a challenge.

Boehly said that the Blues are working on their stadium plans but are currently facing difficulties.

He explained that it has been a complex process due to the stadium’s location in the heart of London.

Speaking via talkSPORT, Boehly said: “Inside of London, it’s really complex. It’s not like we are building something in a rural environment.

We have a lot of constituents to make sure we care about. Certainly, the Chelsea fan base is one of them.

Long term, I think we’re going to build something new, and I think we’ll figure it out.”

Chelsea are said to have previously held talks over a move to Earls Court, as the redevelopment of Stamford Bridge in its current location would be limited due to geographical constraints.
