Edo Muslim youths hail Okpebholo for appointing member, Ikhilor as SSG
The Edo Muslim Youths Advocacy Initiative has said the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led government will usher remarkable progress, unity, and prosperity to the people of the State.
The group made the remarks while commending the governor for appointing Barrister Musa Umar Ikhilor as the first Muslim Secretary to the Edo State since the inception of the present democratic dispensation in 1999.
A statement by the coordinator of the group, Saheed Mahmud made available to newsmen in Benin City said the appointment of Musa Ikhilor as the Secretary to the State Government marks a new leadership in the state.
According to him, the proven intellect, dedication, and vision of the new secretary to the State government, Musa Ikhilor makes him an ideal choice for the position of SSG as he is known for his integrity and commitment to public service.
“He has consistently demonstrated that he has the insight and capability to contribute meaningfully to the development of Edo State.
“With Barrister Musa Ikhilor in the governance team in Edo State, we are confident that the administration is in well position to advance Edo State to greater heights in serving the interest of the people with transparency, efficiency, and innovation.
“His expertise and understanding of the Community would undoubtedly be valuable to the government’s vision for a brighter and a more prosperous Edo State”, he said.
