Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has finally opened up on his feud with Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State.
Wike said that Fubara plotted to remove the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Martin Amaewhule but the plan boomerang leading to crisis in the state.
The minister made the revelation on Tuesday while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme.
“Have Fubara told you I demanded any money from him? I have never done that.
“The problem is that he plotted a coup to remove the Speaker of the State House of Assembly and the thing boomerang against him,” Wike said.
DAILY POST reports that the duo of Wike and Fubara had been engulfed in a political rivalry, throwing the state into turmoil and untold destruction.
