Another Nigerian minister’s WhatsApp number hacked
The Whatsapp number of Nigeria’s minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu has been hacked.
The spokesperson to the minister, Bolaji Tunji disclosed this in a terse notice to DAILY POST on Thursday night.
He warned Nigerians to disregard any appeal for money or assistance any financial support through the compromised phone number.
“HM of power number has been hacked on Wattsapp.Kindly disregard any appeal for money or any assistance for financial support through the number 08022901928”, the statement reads.
This comes barely six days ago after the WhatsApp mobile phone number of the Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman was hacked.
Earlier, the WhatsApp number of the Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh, was also hacked.

Federal High Court set to resume after annual vacation
The Federal High Court will on Tuesday resume after its annual vacation.
The annual vacation, which started on July 23, was expected to end on September 13, however, due to the public holiday declared by the Federal Government to celebrate the Eid-ul-Maulud, court activities will officially kick off on Tuesday.
The Assistant Director of Information/ICT, of the Federal High Court, Dr Catherine Oby-Christopher, had on July 11 in a statement, said the Chief Judge, Justice John Tsoho, had announced commencement of the court’s annual vacation.
According to the statement, “By virtue of the provisions of Order 46, Rule 4 (d) of the Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2019, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Justice John Tsoho, announces its 2024 Annual Vacation and Roster for Vacation Judges.
“The vacation will commence from July 23 to September 13, 2024. Normal court sitting will resume on 16th September, 2024.
“This is in order for judges to enjoy their well- deserved rest and to prepare for the tasks and activities of the New Legal year.”
The statement urged the litigating public to approach Abuja, Lagos and Port-Harcourt divisions of the court for matters of extreme urgency during the period.
Justice Emeka Nwite and Justice Peter Lifu of the Abuja division; Justice Akintayo Aluko and Justice Isaac Dipeolu for Lagos division and Justice A. T. Mohammed and Justice P. M. Ayua for Port-Harcourt were appointed vacation judges.
