The Edo House of Assembly, on Wednesday, confirmed the nomination of Dr Samson Osagie as the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice. Governor Monday Okpebholo, shortly after being sworn in as governor, announced Osagie’s nomination for the position. The measure, announced by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo, on Tuesday, is intended to mitigate the soaring price of gas and will take effect from November 1, 2024.
