The Nigerian Navy said its troops of Operation Delta Sanity discovered and deactivated three illegal refining sites and a wooden boat laden with a large amount of stolen crude oil.
According to the statement on Nigerian Navy verified Facebook page: “On Monday, 4 November 2024, Nigerian Navy Ship SOROH discovered and deactivated 3 illegal refining sites and a wooden boat laden with a large amount of stolen crude oil in Oladiama II, Bayelsa State.
“Subsequently, an attempt to vandalise the Tuomo-Ogbinbiri pipeline in Azama Community was discovered and neutralised.”
