A renowned writer and media consultant, Magnus Oku, has advised Nigerian youths to acquire digital skills, noting that there are essential proficiencies that every individual willing to be relevant in the 21st century must possess.
The writer and media consultant, who gave the charge at the graduation ceremony of Birotojob Academy in Lagos where students were trained in data analysis, asserted that digital skills are highly valued in today’s labour market.
In his lecture titled, ‘Turning Blunders into Wonders in the Information Technology (IT) World’, he inspired the graduates by emphasising that they are the change-makers and trailblazers of the future, capable of transforming challenges into opportunities.
While presenting certificates to the accomplished students, veteran actor, Prince Jide Kosoko, in his remarks, encouraged the graduates to aim for higher horizons in their careers.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Birotojob, Okwuosa Chinedu, also stressed the academy’s commitment to excellence, noting that a bright future awaits the graduates.
He urged aspiring IT professionals to join the academy to gain cutting-edge skills in data analysis and other IT fields, and be a part of the next wave of industry leaders.
