The Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, on Friday dismissed the chances of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.
Pastor Giwa said electorates might not vote for APC because the party has destroyed Nigeria in its nine years in power.
Speaking with DAILY POST, the clergy man lamented that Nigeria are worse off under APC’s administration than military regime.
According to Pastor Giwa: “From 2015, when the All Progressives Congress, APC, took up the mantle of leadership in Nigeria, the party has done more harm than good. Under the leadership of the APC, Nigeria has witnessed what it never went through, even during the military dictatorship. They are worse than the former military leaders who were once in charge of the country.
“Prior to 2015 presidential election, the APC presented itself as a party determined to restructure Nigeria. Surprisingly, the party turned out to be an “evil incarnate.
“APC has not only inflicted pain on Nigerians, but the party has completely destroyed the country. Therefore, only an insane person will vote for them in any state of Nigeria as it is.
“One thing is certain, change is inevitable, and what Nigerians are currently experiencing under the APC won’t last forever. It is a matter of time.”
