Gunmen suspected to be terrorists have killed a policeman identified as Sule Babur in Yobe State.
The tragic incident occurred at Babur’s residence in Mairi community, Buni Yadi, Gujba Local Government Area.
After killing Babur, the assailants set his house on fire, according to the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim.
“The perpetrators also set his house ablaze. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and an investigation is urgently needed to bring the culprits to justice,” Abdulkarim stated.
