The Appointments Committee of Parliament has begun vetting Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie for the position of Chief Justice following his nomination by President John Dramani Mahama.
The process will give committee members the opportunity to scrutinise Justice Baffoe-Bonnie’s qualifications, judicial philosophy, and vision for Ghana’s justice system before making a recommendation to the full House on whether to approve his appointment.
The proceedings are being livestreamed for public viewing.
