Former Director, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Campaign, Oladimeji Fabiyi, has said that Nigerian judiciary is aiding the death of democracy in the country.

Fabiyi made this allegation on Monday while responding to questions in an interview on Arise Television.

Reacting to the outcome of the just concluded local governments’ elections in Rivers State, Fabiyi said everything in the state, from the appointment of the Sole Administrator to the local governments’ elections, was completely illegal.

“First, I’d like to say that I am not in alignment with everything that happened in Rivers State.

“What happened in Rivers, you know, all these our entertainers. And you know, when there’s something they call script. It was a script.
“And then in PDP of today, we have two classes of people. There is a class of those who know what they are doing, and the class of those who don’t know what they are doing.

“We have to be serious in this country. Democracy is under serious threat. Everything in Rivers State in the last six months has been illegal, and we voiced it, we said it, that this is illegal.
“It’s just like when you lies, you need more lies to cover that lies. That’s exactly what’s happening in Rivers State.

“The illegality from the appointment of the Sole Administrator to what has happened. What happened in Rivers State was completely illegitimate and full of illegality,” he lamented.
