Police investigate Celebrity Golf Club shooting

The Accra Regional Police Command has launched an investigation into a shooting incident at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono on Saturday.

On Saturday, 18 October 2025, a group of armed men alleged to be landguards and thugs stormed the golf club firing indiscriminately, while threatening golfers present.

A video sighted by GhOne TV, showed people running for their lives as one man kept firing shots towards a particular direction on the otherside of the golf club.

According to police report, three persons in connection with the incident have been taken into custody, while efforts are underway to arrest other culprits involved.

The purpose of the attack is still unknown.

The police, however, has assured that investigations are still ongoing and further details will be communicated in due course.
