It was an emotional and inspiring scene at BetKing’s headquarters in Lagos as James Ada Omaku, a humble farmer and student from Nassarawa State, was celebrated as the first-ever winner of the BetKing Monthly Virtuals Jackpot, walking away with a life-changing ₦50 million prize all from a simple N100 bet.

For over 15 years, James’s life has been a testament to perseverance and faith. Between cultivating maize, cassava, rice, and guinea corn on his small farm and juggling his studies, he worked tirelessly to support his family. At times, he sold popcorn and groundnuts in traffic just to make ends meet. “Everything I do is for my family,” James said, his voice heavy with emotion. “I just want to make them proud.”
