Inter Miami captain, Lionel Messi has named his ultimate achievement in the sport.
Speaking at the American Business Forum in Miami, Messi said winning the FIFA World Cup was his ultimate achievement in football.
Recall that the Argentine forward led his country’s football national team to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
“Winning the World Cup is the ultimate achievement. After the World Cup, there is nothing more you can ask for. It’s hard to explain the feeling,” Messi said (via TouchlineX).
“I can’t find words to describe what the World Cup meant on a personal level, for my family, my teammates, and my country.
“It was special, I had already been lucky enough to achieve everything else before at club level and individually. That was the one thing missing, the one that completed my entire career with that trophy.”
