“I cannot wait for the glorious reunion” – Wife of late Squadron Leader Peter Baah

Family of Squadron Leader Peter Baah mourns loss.

The wife, child and family of the late Squadron Leader Peter Baah have expressed their deep sorrow following his passing in the recent helicopter crash that claimed the lives of seven military personnel.

In a tribute shared during the burial service in Accra, his wife recalled their last moments together, noting that he had left for national duties shortly after the birth of their child.

“Two months ago after you held me at the labour ward, you promised to return as you had to attend national duties. I certainly cannot wait for the Glorious Reunion!

“Though our hearts are broken beyond words, we surrender to God’s will!” she said on behalf of the family.

The tribute reflected the family’s grief and their acceptance of the loss while honouring his service to the nation. Squadron Leader Baah was among the officers who died in the line of duty, a loss that has drawn widespread condolences from the public and the Ghana Armed Forces.
