FCT: Police uncovers bandits’ hideout, kill suspect

Police operatives of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Command have busted some identified kidnappers hideouts in Chikara, Kogi State, bordering Abuja and Zuba area of the territory.

SP Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer confirmed this in a statement made available to DAILY POST on Saturday.

She said the operation, which was carried out between June 8 and 13, 2024, was a product of the continuous effort against criminality in FCT.

According to her, the sudden appearance of the police operatives at the kidnapper’s camp resulted in a gun duel, leading to the death of one suspect, Abdusallam Abdulkadir.

According to her, three suspects, including Mahammadu Isa of Dantata Abuja, Likita Idris and Isiyaku Muhammedu both of Kogi State were arrested by the operatives.
