Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has revealed that facing Germany in the quarter-finals of the ongoing Euro 2024 will be a tough encounter.

Recall that Spain defeated Georgia 4-1 to advance to the next round while Germany edged Denmark 2-0 in the Round of 16.

However, in a chat with TribalFootball, Fuente stated that he’s not worried about Spain’s clash against Germany.

“We have the best team and the best players. We are going to fight for it and we know what we have ahead of us, which is Germany. There is quality, commitment and confidence.

“The next opponent is a powerhouse, with great players. It is the well-known German machine. It will be a very close match, but we are very confident of our game.”
