Dele-Bashiru Set To Join Lazio On Loan

Nigeria midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is set to complete a loan move to Serie A club Lazio from Hatayspor.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Lazio will pay Turkish Super Lig outfit Hatayspor €2m loan fee.

Lazio have an obligation to buy the player at the end of the season for a further €4m.

The total package is lower than the €7m release clause in Dele-Bashiru’s contract.

The 23-year-old only moved to Hatayspor on a free transfer last summer after ending his three-year stay at Sheffield Wednesday.

Dele -Bashiru made 39 appearances in the 2013/24 season, scoring nine goals and providing six assists.

He also has one goal in two senior caps for Nigeria and had linked with Napoli last year.
