Abusuapayin Kofi Owusu, the head of the late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba’s family, has publicly accused gospel musician Papa Shee and another individual known as Giga of fuelling confusion and disputes surrounding the musician’s funeral.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz on Saturday, 15 November 2025, Owusu, also known as Tupac, alleged that external influences are corrupting the minds of the late singer’s wives.
He claimed that Daddy Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa, was initially cooperative and willing to allow the second wife, Odo Broni, to perform the widowhood rites until she was “misguided.”
“Papa Shee and Giga are corrupting their minds… they are the ones causing these issues,” Owusu insisted, while maintaining that both women are inherently “respectful and cooperative.”
The public accusation marks a significant escalation in the internal family tensions that have plagued the funeral preparations for the music icon.
