We’re still together’ – Portable calls out Queen Dammy for denying him in public
Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has called out the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife, Queen Dammy, for denying their relationship in public.
DAILY POST reports that Portable and Queen Dammy broke up in December 2024 after their messy online fight.
While dragging Queen Dammy on social media, Portable took a jab at Ibadan, Oyo state where the Queen hails from, boasting that he brought her out from the city’s poor housing standards and rented a POP ceiling apartment for her in a more civilised city.
His remarks about Ibadan City sparked backslash from the indigene who banned him from performing in their land.
Little was heard about the duo after the controversy that ended in January 2025, until Portable in a fresh verbal attack this week, called out Queen Dammy for claiming he no longer exist in her life.
Queen Dammy made the statement a few days ago while searching for love during a TikTok live session with popular streamer, Salo.
However speaking in video on social media, Portable who feel betrayed, disclosed that they reconciled after she begged him but decided to keep their relationship away from social media.
While accusing Queen Dammy of lying, Portable explained that she is currently living in an apartment he rented for her, stating that he slept with her the night before she denied him .
He said “Imagine Salo asking Queen Dammy about me a few days ago, and she said I didn’t exist. This was some I had sex with all through the night before she went live. In fact we were together on the bed. I ask her why she was denying me. Does she not want people to know we are back together? And she couldn’t say anything.
“This is someone that is supposed to beg Ibadan people to forgive me and tell them that I’m still responsible for her upkeep and needs, but she denied me. I accepted her back after she came to beg me. Any woman that leaves me can never find a husband again”, portable said.

2Baba, wife Natasha celebrate child dedication
Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, have publicly dedicated their newborn son in a church ceremony.
The intimate but celebratory dedication took place over the weekend, attended by close family members and friends.
A video cited by DAILY POST on social media showed the couple dancing joyfully toward the altar while carrying their baby, with relatives following behind, clapping, and celebrating the moment.
The ceremony comes barely three months after the couple welcomed their first child together in November 2025, following their traditional wedding earlier in the year.
In the footage, 2Baba was seen in a simple, elegant outfit, calm and reflective, occasionally smiling as he stood beside Natasha.
At one point, Natasha handed their baby to the officiating minister for prayers as members of the congregation looked on.
Despite the lingering public attention on his high-profile divorce from Annie Idibia, 2Baba appeared composed throughout the dedication, focusing entirely on his wife and newborn son.

Super Eagles: ‘He was sad’ – Peseiro on how Ademola Lookman felt being ignored by England
Former Nigeria national team coach José Peseiro has revealed how Ademola Lookman felt after he was ignored by England before he decided to play for Nigeria.
Explaining why the Atletico Madrid forward opted for Nigeria, Peseiro said this happened after the player waited for a chance to represent England at the senior level.
Lookman was born in London to parents from Nigeria. He played for England’s youth teams, including the U19, U20, and U21 squads.
In February 2022, FIFA allowed him to change his national team allegiance and represent Nigeria instead.
A former African Footballer of the Year, the skilled forward made a last-minute move to Atlético Madrid, and just last weekend, he became the first English-born player to play in the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, and La Liga.
Peseiro talked to Marca about Lookman’s move to Atletico Madrid before his contract ended.
He said, “For Lookman, it’s a challenge, and it’s a big moment in his career because now he’s reached one of the top clubs in Europe… and he can keep showing England that they made a mistake by not picking him for the senior team,” he said.
Peseiro also mentioned that Lookman was confused about why his good progress in youth teams did not lead to a call-up for the senior squad.
“He was still quite young, but he frequently told me about how sad he felt. After winning the Under-20 World Cup in 2017 and moving up to the Under-21 team, England stopped inviting him to join the squad. He couldn’t understand it. He thought he could have a future there, but in the end, he had to accept the situation.”
With parents from Nigeria, Lookman chose to play for the Super Eagles, a decision he made before Peseiro became the head coach.
He has directly helped score 11 goals, with six of those being goals he scored himself and five being assists he provided, in 13 matches.

NPFL: Wikki Tourists appoint Saleh interim technical adviser
Bashir Saleh has been appointed as the new technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Wikki Tourists.
Saleh steps in after the resignation of veteran tactician Abdullahi Maikaba on Monday.
The new coach will serve on an interim basis pending further directives by the club.
Saleh is expected to resume duty with immediate effect.
He previously served as Chief Coach of Wikki Tourists under Coach Garba Ibrahim and also worked with coach Aliyu Zubairu at Gombe United.
Saleh will lead the team in their matchday 26 encounter against Rangers in Enugu this weekend.

CAFCL: NPFL clubs can’t compete in Africa – Rivers United coach Yemi
Rivers United assistant coach, Yemi Olarewaju, has said no Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, clubs has what is required to compete on the continent.
Olarewaju stated this following Rivers United poor showing in the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The Pride of Rivers have recorded only one point from five matches.
The young tactician believes that clubs need to do more to be able to compete against the best on the continent.
“It has been challenging time for us in CAF Champions League group stage, The experience gained this year will help everyone in the future,” Olarewaju stated.
“No Nigeria club has what it takes to compete with the best in Africa presently. We need to do more and invest more on our clubs like most of these clubs do.”
